Basically Jail with the Spirit

So the title of this email is because we practically have no free time but we feel the Spirit everywhere.

So i originally wrote this email and it was Molto Fuoco but then i hit the delete draft button. i literally died. didnt want to write it over dont know if it will be the same.. but ill try XD

Sunday's devotional was by Stephen B. Allen he basically got up and first words were "CHILL OUT, teach to investigators needs." and i really needed that cause ive been trying to memorize lessons in italtian and they never turn out good...

Tuesday's devotional was by Kevin Brett Nattress (of the 70? it think) 

1. He asked "What think ye of Christ?" and so we talked about what we thought about Christ so here we go. I know that Jesus Christ died for us. I know he loves us unconditionally. He died so we could live again. I Know that My Redeemer Lives and while He lives i'll sing. 

2.I learned i need to be more humble. super humbler... of thats a word XD

3.He then brought up a story about a general authority about how when he left on his mission his dad gave him a note with 5 words on it it read "Dont be Afraid Only Believe" he then asked us to all write on the note cards that he gave us. Write this down and keep it with you for the rest of you mission. I would like all of you to think about doing this!!!

4.In that same story he talked about how during the general authorities mission he got discouraged and wanted to go home cause he thought he was wasting his fathers money, so he sent a letter to his dad and told him how he felt. He then received a letter back that said "Forget yourself. Go to work" after that he also said "lose yourself and you'll find yourself" and i think that really applies to me... I need to find out who Dallin is...

5.the last thing and probably my favorite. He said "Remember who you are and who He is." Meaning our Savior. I think this is amazing. My dad use to say "Remember who you are and what i stand for" meaning we are representing him as our dad, He recently changed his saying to "Remember who you are and what God wants you to become" For me personally im going to use this new saying "Remember who you are and who He is."

WEEK 2 IS OVER NOW ONTO WEEK 3

So week two done. I got this right?? haha this place is literally the best. i love it here so much the spirit here is so strong!! well this last week we had to go to Salt Lake as a zone to get our Visa's finalized so we got on the tracks in Provo and rode it all the way to Salt Lake it was so much fun!! we sang hymns almost the whole time and i got to know a lot of the people in my zone!! our Zone is made up of 3 Milano (Milan) districts 2 Roma (Rome) districts and 1 district of all sisters going to Romania which I think is crazy awesome!! When we first got here there were three Elders that were leaving for Romania on the following Tuesday... they were like older brothers to basically everyone!! Elder Bednar came that same Tuesday his talk was awesome!! He talked about how we can analyze general conference talks more easily. The weeks are short... but the days seem so long which is great and bad at the same time XD Because we literally sit for 9 hours and learn the language get an hour of exercise its kinda lame but I play volleyball during that time so its great! Yesterday i had to go to the Doctor cause i was getting super sick.. i got the right antibiotics now and im doing much better!! I also got my knee checked out cause it started hurting super bad yesterday after i woke up so i went physical therapy at the BYU Health Care Center and will be doing that next week too. But it feels much better just have to do the exercises that he gave me and i should be good!! More about my comp. So i think i mentioned he's from Laei Hawaii in my last email but he's not Hawaiian or Tongan or anything like that he's a white kid lol he's my Callapoki (Otherside of Heaven Quote) i call him that sometimes he likes it so its chill. He's a great singer our district literally sings all the time. Hymns, disney, you name it we sing it (as long as its clean) I love my district and zone!! Italian language is coming slowly but surely. i love it sometimes and sometimes i absolutely hate it lol but its good.​​​​ We gave a blessing to one of the sisters in our district cause she wasn't good at all... she felt and looked so much better the next day which happened to be the day we had to go to the consulate so that was a big blessing to her and im glad i got to be apart of that!! so the pictures below are some from our trip to the consulate and from our first temple walk (which we do every Sunday) and my comp is the one in the blue sweater he's awesome!!! MTC First P-day Week 1

HELLLOOOOO FRIENDS ITS MY PDAY!!!! My P-days are on thursdays while im in the MTC. hard to imagine ive been in here for a week already!!! IM LOVING IT HERE!! My comp is Anziano Workman he's from Laie Hawaii he's alright i guess... I only say that cause he's sitting next to me as i write this. But seriously i wouldn't have picked a better comp for my comp in the MTC we get along great and sometimes he sounds like one of the mooses from brother bear!!!! By far my most spiritual experience while ive been here was on our Tuesday Devo (devotional) Elder Bednar came to speak!!!! it was crazy!! the other cool thing about Tuesday is that we got to sing this crazy cool song in the choir!! Its called "Precious Savior, Dear Redeemer" Totally loved it. Oh yeah BTW im in the MTC choir its prime. like literally my favorite thing ive done since ive been here. My classes are pretty basic just 3 hours of studying italain 3 hours of other studying (gospel stuffs) then three hours of either Comp study, Language study and personal study so just the average MTC experience theres some meals in between there but they arent that long... We have a total of maybe an hour or 2 of total free time each day... We watched this video on Sunday evening called Character of Christ by Elder David A. Bednar (this was before he came to speak to us in the devo) i learned a lot from it! mostly that we need to "turn outward" turning outward is something Christ would always do. No matter what even on the Cross he said "forgive them for they know not what they do" perfect example of turning out. we should all be like unto Christ turn out and care about others more then yourself and you will feel the change in the attitude, life, and actions. You will see what its like to be Christ like!! I love you all and hope to hear from you as much as possible if you know anyone else who would want to get this email just get it and send to to me!!

I don't have a lot of time... I start opening letters and stuff on p days around 8:30... so I already am over on my time with writing emails... but I really wanted to just say Happy Birthday!!! I love you to infinity and beyond!! I couldn't have asked for a better mother! your the bestest!!! I hope you have an amazing day! I don't need much from you guys right now with a care package snacks would be great though! Basically anything!

Elder Bednar did come and his talk was so great!! ill tell you about it next week okay?? i love you!

When my Pday is...

so there giving us a little time today to send an email to let you all know when our p day is and ours in on Thursdays. i will not be able to say much in this letter cause i only have a little time to send this message. but my comps name is Anziano Workman and he's from Hawaii (white guy) he's cool we get along no problems so far thats good. language is hard but im sorta getting a hang of it (not really) our first lesson wasnt too bad... im the Senior companion right now but i dont see myself as a high ranking elder cause were all at the same level right now. hmm... i dont know what else to say and im about out of time for this email so ciao ciao mi famiglia!!

so first things first i made it. second im supposed to let you know that i got here safe. i havent met my companion yet but ive met my teacher and she would do is speak italian but i didnt get completely lost so thats good well i gotta go now back to class ill email you guys a little later!!
